Hey Albert,

we'd drive Canada's Yellowhead Hwy twice a year for 20 years, to get from here to California and I always thought all the huge roadside billboards with the faces of missing (usually) Indigenous women were very sad, weird and spooky.

The last time through, I spoke with a restaurant owner in a tiny highway town and what we heard was so horrific, we didn't stay in our usual campground that evening but just kept driving.

The number of missing women and teens - boys too - and children is unbelievable and right in your face in rural BC Canada.

It's got to be government sponsored. You can feel the foreboding, eeriness and grief in the land itself when you're passing through.

Tim Ballard had to step down, he was caught showering with one or more of the victims from child sex trafficking.
