VAERS Now Only Publishing Data Monthly Only!

Early warning pharmacovigilance be damned!

VAERS has now officially “missed” two weekly cycles of published reports. There has not been any official announcement on CDC or anywhere. Word on the street is the next drop will by November 3rd, then the first Friday of the month moving forward.

The Twitter blurb above was the only thing I found as of Thursday last week, but judging by 2nd week of missed publications, I’ll believe it now.

As it stood, we were getting down getting to about a couple thousands C19 reports weekly with about forty deaths per week as indicated by this viz:

The purposeful delay in publication of reports was getting insane, you can see it by just the vax dates indicated on reports published in 2023. One of the many metrics I cover that now of the those other sites cover is what we in the HMO Claims Auditing business called TAT’s aka turnaround times between dates. In this case that would mean measuring the days between all various dates VAERS gives us like received date, vax date, onset date, death date, published date, and lot expiration date. VAERS does not publish lot expiration dates, that’s something I had to obtain on my own with a tremendous amount of help.

I don’t want to get into the weeds about TAT’s but I don’t think many people have seen the blue print I created for myself that is foundational to my VAERS auditing system.

I wish I could say this kind of auditing is original but it’s not, I was doing it for years in the medical billing and HMO world. Interactive Dashboards and auditing with dashboards is not new but it’s what separates vaersaware.com and makes this site a supplement to openvaers and medalerts.org at the very least. God Bless
